Power Belongs To God

Once God has spoken. Twice have I heard this.

That power belongs to God.

Today, I read this in a psalm and then promptly, had to run off to work for an unexpected ten-hour shift. I thought about and was strengthened by that verse throughout the day, wondering at the phrasing of it. Once it was spoken - in the Bible - and twice have I heard it - because I read it and then repeated it to myself. God's promises are multilayered and deep. It's like an ocean and before I've even hit two feet, I'm drowned in his goodness. I'll never reach an end of him and I'm so glad I won't.

Look for God. What you find will not disappoint.
