Breath of Life

end of the world, depth of the sky
floating up into eternity
breath of icy life and the colder one of death

for the first time, I saw everything for how it was... and everything was broken, skeletons of what it had- what it should've been - everything was decayed, rotting, putrid... ruined

what a broken mixed-up world.

floating up into eternity

surely our griefs him himself bore and our sorrows he carried-
pierced, crushed, broken - but surely, the power that was within him
could transform our pain into marvelous light

-when I look at you, out of the corner of my eye, I wonder why you look so broken.
why are your shoulders so tired, like someone's handed you the weight of the world?

...please

-tell me you'll be there...
tell me you're the cure-

Then, those who walked in darkness saw a great light;
those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
upon them a light shone and the light was promise of hope and life.

breath of icy life

you were broken
broken to heal
suffered darkness to show light

-how deep does your love go? I can't comprehend
sinking like a depth-charge into my heart
exploding high and wide...

-remember me, when I come...
I want to see Paradise, I want to see you-

breath of life - warm, living God-breath
