Today was my first day of job training at Kohl's, with my orientation being the night before. I've liked all the people I've met so far. The only thing that stresses me out is successfully figuring out my locker combination. =P
I didn't tell many people about the opportunity there, because I wasn't sure if I would take the job. I knew it would take it, though, when Amy called and said they were starting me in the shoe department.
Seriously.
The SHOE department.
I'm still rather giddy.
Maybe if I weren't so tired, I'd be even more excitable. Pray for me. More training tomorrow and I want to be able to absorb as much information as possible this first time around. If you have any questions, be sure to pest me. ^_^
Cheers. Savor a good smell today.

I'll be praying!! Yay! I love you! I bet you'll do an incredible job! *Squish*
ReplyDeleteI like the picture.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I guess I should say I'm glad you got the job. No, really....I am. You'll be amazing.
Oh, the SHOE department. :) No wonder you sound euphoric.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything goes well. Praying for you.
No way! Do you get like a discount on all shoes? (;
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started work at the fabric store, I couldn't undo the lock for my locker either. (= Those combination lockers are evil, man. ^_^
Yay Ruth!
ReplyDeleteWell, I have managed to get the combination to work at least two times now. I get in a little world by myself when I'm trying - there's just me, a knob and those dratted metallic numbers.
ReplyDeleteYeah, discounts! Fo Sho!
