If Laura Ingalls Wilder Went Steam-Punk

Fashion post! I actually bought this outfit just this morning.

This is one of the reasons I love thrift shopping.

Jeans - 6.99$
T-shirt - 3.99$ (this shirt just made me smile)
Boots - 1.49$
Total outfit costs - 12.47$
That's what I'm talking about! Whoohoo!!

Gina, these boots made me think of you and your steam-punk obsession. They have this terrific vibe of Laura Ingalls Wilder and steam-punk all at once, don't you think?

My hairstyle was inspired by this video... but I still had to use bobby pins. Story of my life. :)
The pink tiger lilies in the backyard are in breath-taking bloom. I love the tender notes of color and the sharp pink teeth on the smooth petal surface. I keep thinking (paraphrased from Luke),

Consider the lilies, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, oh you of little faith? ...do not be worried. Your Father knows what you need. Instead, seek his kingdom and all these things will be added to you.

Pray you have a beautiful Wednesday seeking God's kingdom,

R<3

  3. Those lilies are amazing, and I love your hair!

I think I might have to start 'collecting' lilies, too. I even want to try waterlilies in all their oriental style.
