Learned today: Sometimes the best thing you can do is just go back to bed.
After going back to bed, wait a couple hours, then get up and do work. Then go back to bed and get up again. Did you know sleep is actually really good for you? Like, really, unavoidably, essentially good for you? Here are just a few of the benefits that sleep gives you.
a) a break from the world
b) lets you use fewer stress hormones
c) memory becomes sharp like a snapping turtle*
d) it's really fun to sleep between sky-blue sheets - it's the closest I'll probably ever get to flying
Still, my test is seeming daunting and I'd appreciate prayer. I know God is faithful and I need to fight the lie that it's all up to me, even though it feels that way! Further note, I'm housesitting for the first time ever this weekend! I feel so grown up!

ReplyDeleteWell, I hadn't checked your blog for a while, and I came back to find that you've seemingly had a lot of crazy, stressful, and potentially disheartening things going on lately. Aaannd I wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you! And that God is on your side. So you can't lose! But I know life looks extremely daunting sometimes.
