"'Everything Will Make Sense In The Morning."

At one of the houses where my sister Jak and I work at as nursing assistants, there a very precious little lady who has dementia. She is always cheerful, even when she has no idea what's going on or who we are. Sometimes, though, she has trouble going to sleep because she doesn't believe that it's her room, or that she's in her own bed. She says, "When am I going home to see my parents?" One night, she was extra confused and Jak kept trying to help her understand what was going on. Finally, Jak wrote her a note and gave it to her. After she read it, she said, "Can I keep it?" She fell asleep with it on her bedside table. It said;

"Everything will make sense in the morning."

A lot of life doesn't make sense right now, especially to my age group. We're just figuring out life, work, friends and relationships. We want to know where we're needed and who loves us. We need to entrust it to God, but it's so hard. Sometimes it feels like the middle of the night, but God tells me, "Everything will make sense in the morning." I need to trust that even when I'm confused, God knows what he's doing.
