So Much Beauty

Tonight, I'm just thankful. There is so much beauty and love in my life. For those of you who recently started reading my blog, I'm over halfway through an awesome challenge that Ann Voskamp began. She even wrote a book about it - One Thousand Gifts - A Dare To Live Fully Right Where You Are. I started my own list of 1000 gifts in Thanksgiving of last year and while I'm trying to list them and post regularly, part of me doesn't want this list to end. (Who knows? Maybe it won't. :D)
I have seen my heart developing thankfulness and I'm more aware of how blessed I am. It's exhilarating and humbling. I've found that no matter what nasty situation I'm in, I can usually find something I'm truly grateful for. I recommend starting a list like this.
Have a blessed night! I love all my amazing friends and readers in the blogging community! You guys are a big part of #546. :)

  2. I LOVE the book "One Thousand Gifts". Completely changed my perspective on gratitude. I love how you include them on the bottom of your posts! Such a great idea.
P.S. How is your blog designing coming?! :)

  3. interesting that we are both in the 500s with our thank you's. I count myself in good company :-) and let's see… Of your thank you list – I think I give second place to the inspiring people in our community – I heart this community that we blog in. But I think my favorite is this point that you are in with your life. I know I've said it before – but I have a really good feeling about the way your life is going to turn out. Keep gleaning wisdom, keep writing – because your writing is awesome – and I just know that I'm going to be able to say someday - I knew her when! :-) God bless you Ruthiey.
