I'll [Won't] Attempt A Reply

I'm going to try to laugh at myself for this, but it's really rather pathetic.

I left a decidedly pro-life comment on a post on a popular blog and got one rather caustic and bitter reply. Now I have a notification in my inbox of another reply and I haven't opened that email. It's been two days. I just can't handle the criticism. I mustered enough bravery to post the comment in the first place, but just can't handle the storm.

I feel like I should and like I should go leave a reply, because I know the truth and I want them to know too. Not just 'cause I'm right, but because they need to be right.

I don't know if I'll ever open that email. Like I said, almost funny but just somewhat pathetic.

I'd like to blame the middle child in me, who hates conflict and name-calling. I'd like to blame my fear of man, but God doesn't let us make excuses for our sin.

Somebody help me.

  1. Heh, conflict isn't fun. XP Especially when you try something hard and feel like you're getting bashed for doing it. Bleeh.
