Rescheduling Hope

Good news, better news and best news.

Good news - I rescheduled my test for the seventh, so I have breathing room.

Better news - I bought a bible for someone in the U.S. Navy. Wow, God. You are going to use this and it'll be good and I can't wait to hear about it in heaven!

Best news - Aaron Gillespie tweeted this once and it's stuck with me, bounding around in my head.

Hold onto hope, and take courage again.

Some of my posts have been discouraged lately. It's where I've been and that's okay, but I'm realizing something. I need to hold onto the LIVING HOPE that I've been given and that
no one
no. one.
n.o. o.n.e
can take away from me.
Not only for my own sake, so I can smile my cheerful smile and be pretty on the inside, but so I can pass that hope onto someone else and speak encouragement from an encouraged heart.

Like my sister, telling her to keep doing P90X. Yeah, props sista-friend! Keep going!
Like my co-worker, discouraged about her work schedule. Don't over-react. Give it to God.

I'm part of spreading God's good news.

I'm useful in His Kingdom.

I'm a little tiny chip in God's huge magnificent mosaic.

I'm holding onto hope and taking courage again, for myself, yes, but also for you, dear blog readers and for the other people in my life that I love so much.

  3. This is so true. I hope the recipient of the Bible is strengthened in his or her faith! It's so neat to think little good things can often set off great good chain reactions.
